Secret Vault

A security architecture pattern that decouples secrets from their consumers. Callers hold opaque reference handles rather than plaintext credentials, and the vault dynamically injects credentials into target systems at runtime. Representative implementations include HashiCorp Vault and AWS Secrets Manager.
