Gibbs Distribution

A core probability distribution concept in statistical physics and machine learning, of the form π(a) ∝ exp(r(a)/τ), where the temperature parameter τ controls how flat the distribution is. As the temperature approaches zero, the distribution degenerates into a Dirac distribution over the optimal action.
