Hypothetical function signatures generated by an LLM based on its understanding of a task. They declare the capability specification required by the task (inputs, outputs, capabilities) in a structured way without pointing to any concrete tool in the registry, and serve as retrieval queries to bypass the surface-semantic-similarity trap.
