Antichrist

A central concept in Christian eschatology referring to the ultimate evil figure or force that appears in the end times, either impersonating Christ or standing in opposition to him. Different denominations interpret it variously, some viewing it as a specific individual and others as a symbolic spiritual force or institutional system.
