Change Data Capture (CDC)

Change Data Capture (CDC) is a technique that reads data changes from database transaction logs, such as the MySQL binlog or PostgreSQL WAL, capturing inserts, updates and deletes in near real time without instrumenting business code and pushing them downstream as an event stream. Common implementations include Debezium, Canal and managed services from cloud providers.
