NASA Mars Sample Return Mission

A flagship planetary science mission developed in collaboration between NASA and ESA, intended to retrieve rock-core samples collected by the Perseverance rover and return them to Earth laboratories for detailed analysis in the search for evidence of ancient Martian life. The mission was cancelled due to significant budget overruns and technical complexity.
