SLRU Cache
A lightweight caching framework used internally by PostgreSQL to manage various shared states. It organizes data in fixed-size pages, and subsystems such as pg_subtrans and pg_clog are built on top of it. Under high-concurrency workloads, the framework is susceptible to lock contention.
