Turbo
One of the core components of Hotwire. It intercepts link and form submissions to perform partial page updates using HTML over the wire, providing an interaction experience close to that of an SPA without requiring large amounts of JavaScript.

Hotwire is the frontend approach led officially by Rails, consisting of two parts: Turbo and Stimulus.
Turbo enables server-rendered pages to achieve SPA-like responsiveness through partial page replacement and streaming updates, without writing large amounts of JavaScript.
Hotwire is Rails' tech stack, comprising two sub-libraries: Turbo and Stimulus.
Stimulus provides a lightweight behavioral layer framework that handles client-side interaction logic not covered by Turbo.
Rails introduced Hotwire (including Turbo and Stimulus) as a lightweight front-end solution, attempting to achieve a smooth user experience without introducing complex JavaScript frameworks
Acceleration approaches such as Turbo and Lightning introduce consistency distillation or adversarial distillation techniques, using a teacher model to supervise a student model in approximating the final output within very few steps.
In vendor naming conventions, suffixes such as Flash, Lite, Mini, and Turbo typically denote lightweight, fast, and low-cost versions.
