Affine Safety Value
A scalar function in CSF that measures how far the current action is from the safety boundary. It is constructed from a safe reference trajectory and an unsafe reference trajectory, defines a direction in the generator's action representation space, and preserves convex optimization properties.
Timeline (last 90 days)
CSF's workflow consists of three layers: converting natural language safety rules into safe/unsafe reference trajectories, using the reference trajectories to define an affine safety value, and enforcing the safety value with safety-reference-tracking CBF-QP.
The affine safety value is a scalar function defined in the generator's motion representation space, used to measure how far the current motion is from the safe side.
