AWS Marketplace
AWS's digital software and services marketplace, supporting public listings and private pricing offers, where enterprise buyers can procure third-party software, SaaS, and AI model services.
Timeline (last 90 days)
An AWS Marketplace private pricing offer (MPPO) is AWS Marketplace's private procurement mechanism for enterprise buyers, in which a vendor and a buyer negotiate prices and terms separately to generate a private offer visible only to that buyer, and the entitlements land in that account only after the buyer accepts.
When using Amazon Bedrock in a multi-account AWS environment, each account needs to separately accept the Marketplace private pricing offer (MPPO) to obtain the corresponding Bedrock model invocation entitlements.
Bedrock access permission is essentially an authorization chain: Marketplace private pricing offer → License Manager entitlement → model invocation capability of a specific account; if any link breaks for a certain account, applications under that account will fail when making calls.
The newly added /usage-credits command targets organizations billed through AWS Marketplace, self-serve enterprise editions, and enterprise trial editions, allowing team members to request higher usage limits from administrators via this command.
