Bit-Level Alignment
A debugging methodology for large model training that performs exact bit-by-bit comparison of intermediate results across two training runs. By identifying the earliest operation at which numerical divergence first appears, the technique enables fine-grained fault attribution, distinguishing true training bugs from acceptable numerical non-determinism in distributed execution environments.
