BROJA-PID

A partial information decomposition framework proposed by Bertschinger, Rauh, Olbrich, Jost, and Ay. It formulates a constrained optimization problem to decompose the informational contributions of multiple sources to a target variable into three components: unique information, redundant information, and synergistic information. The framework has applications in neuroscience and machine learning.
