Device Workbench
A plugin for unified monitoring and management of automated tasks executed by agents in browsers and on mobile phones, supporting real-time view monitoring, manual takeover and task report generation.
Timeline (last 90 days)
A Bilibili uploader shared a solution that lets DeepSeek Harness take over browser and phone automation operations, and achieves unified monitoring and manual takeover through a self-developed "Device Workbench" plugin.
The uploader used a single prompt to have Harness integrate the browser and phone capabilities into a "Device Workbench" page and package it as a Harness plugin; after completion, a "Device Workbench" entry appears in the left menu and can be toggled on or off in plugin management.
The Device Workbench interface lists the connected devices (in the demo, one browser plus two phones); during task execution, screen changes can be seen in real time and taken over at any time, and after each task ends, a process report and a result report are generated.
During the demo, a MUSE-related collection task was re-executed: the Agent opened the App on its own, entered search terms, took screenshots one by one, and the final report showed it took 194 seconds, attaching the first five results and the actual screenshots taken.
