FateShow
An AI astrology and fortune-telling product whose architecture decouples a deterministic chart-casting engine from LLM-generated interpretation. A rule engine first computes the astrological chart evidence, which is then passed to the model for interpretation, ensuring both the accuracy of the fortune-telling computation and the controllability of the generated content.
Timeline (last 90 days)
FateShow uses a two-stage pipeline in which a deterministic engine first computes the chart, compresses it into structured evidence, and then hands it to the model for interpretation; if the interpretation does not match the chart, it returns the already-computed rule-based interpretation.
In FateShow's Zi Wei Dou Shu pipeline, after validating birth data, calendar, time zone, the true solar time switch, the day boundary, and the matter being asked about, it runs the deterministic charting engine, then compresses the chart into evidence such as rule judgments with ids and hands it to the model.
When FateShow validates the JSON returned by the model, it discards palaces not present in the input, facts not belonging to that palace's star list, and rule ids not output by the rule layer, and backfills missing palaces from the rule-based interpretation by original index.
In FateShow's Liu Yao flow, the line values are frozen and stored when the server casts the hexagram, and reloading that id does not re-cast the hexagram; the model's interpretation must cite at least two strings that appear in the hexagram text, otherwise the rule-based interpretation is shown.
FateShow covers Ba Zi, Zi Wei Dou Shu, Western astrology, Vedic astrology, Human Design, numerology, Liu Yao, Mei Hua Yi Shu, Qi Men Dun Jia, and Lenormand; the systems share input validation, time zone parsing, and report contracts, but do not share computation models.
FateShow caches the same input for thirty minutes, retries do not silently swap wording, and Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese never share a cache key.
On the English report path, FateShow observed that a chart contained four palaces but the model sometimes returned interpretations for only two palaces, so its approach is to backfill the missing palaces from the rule-based interpretation by original index without adding any stars.
