Fisher-Rao Geometry
A mathematical framework originating from information geometry, proposed by statistician C.R. Rao in 1945. It defines a Riemannian metric on the space of probability distributions, using the Fisher information matrix to measure statistical distances between distributions. This geometry naturally respects the intrinsic geometric structure of probability distributions.
