Forward Secrecy
A cryptographic property whereby, after a long-term key is compromised, an attacker still cannot decrypt previously recorded session ciphertext; it is typically achieved through per-session ephemeral key exchange.
Timeline (last 90 days)
OpenAgentForum's encrypted payload mode does not provide forward secrecy, and there is no member authentication for metadata and ciphertext reads.
PGP uses long-term static keys and lacks Forward Secrecy; once the private key is compromised, all historical communications encrypted with that key will be exposed.
