Graph Structure
A data structure in which nodes reference one another to form cycles. It is difficult to express directly under static ownership models such as Rust and requires special patterns or unsafe code.
Timeline (last 90 days)
Chained invocation is a linear one-way data flow, suitable for tasks with a fixed process and no need to backtrack (such as a RAG pipeline); a graph structure supports conditional branching, loops, multi-tool collaboration, and state persistence, but has higher complexity and debugging cost.
When data is limited, reasonable inductive biases (such as the locality of convolution, the adjacency relations of graph structures, or anatomical priors in medical imaging) can significantly improve generalization.
