Humble Choice
A monthly game subscription service from Humble Bundle. Each month, for a fixed fee, it provides a set of Steam game keys for players to keep permanently, with a portion of the revenue donated to charity.
Timeline (last 90 days)
This month's Humble Choice subscription costs $14.99 per month, and subscribers get several Steam PC games including "Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii," "Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown," "Psychonauts 2," and "Deep."
Since its founding in 2010, the Humble platform has featured "pay what you want" and charitable donations as its core characteristics, and Humble Choice allocates a portion of subscription revenue each month to partner charities.
Humble Choice subscribers can specify the donation proportion and beneficiary organizations themselves through the "Humble Wallet".
What Humble Choice subscribers receive are game keys that can be activated directly on the Steam platform; once activated, they are permanently bound to the account, and even if the subscription is canceled later, the games already claimed will not be lost.
The game libraries of subscription services such as Xbox Game Pass exist only as long as the subscription status lasts, which is fundamentally different from the model in which Humble Choice provides permanent Steam keys.
