A JWT-format token signed by the identity provider in the OIDC protocol, used to carry user identity information and composed internally of claim fields such as sub, oid, and email.

Claude Code v2.1.312 added the oidc.user_id_claim configuration item to the Claude apps gateway, allowing enterprises to identify user identity via a claim in the id_token rather than being limited to the default sub field.
