ConceptInstance Segmentation
Instance Segmentation
A computer vision task that requires identifying the category of every object in an image while distinguishing individual objects of the same category, generating a separate mask for each object. It differs from object detection, which produces only bounding boxes, and from semantic segmentation, which does not distinguish individuals.
