Jaccard Index
A metric measuring the degree of overlap between two sets, computed as the size of the intersection divided by the size of the union. In IDP scoring it is unaffected by correctly identified blank fields and is more robust than Accuracy.
Timeline (last 90 days)
The Jaccard Index (IoU) is described as "Accuracy without True Negatives," focusing only on positive overlap and not involving TN counts, making it more robust than Accuracy in form scenarios with many blank fields.
There is a mathematical relationship between the Jaccard Index and F1: Jaccard = F1 / (2 - F1), and the two can be converted into each other.
