Gemini 4 Argon passed LangChainJS's full set of test cases.
LangChainJS currently does not support the minimal thinking level of Gemini 4 Argon, including the case where thinking budget is set to 0, and it will not automatically downgrade minimal to low.
A fix patch for the minimal thinking level mapping issue is already planned, recorded in issue 11940.
The maxReasoningTokens or thinkingBudget parameters remain backward-compatible and valid, and will be mapped to Google's thinkingLevel values.
LangChainJS will support the continuationToken approach first, but the maintainer positions it as a temporary transitional solution.
