Laya-Heart
A locally run assistant for romantic chat that uses two open-source models (Laya to interpret subtext and Gemma to draft replies). It does not connect to chat applications, and data remains local.
Timeline (last 90 days)
Laya-Heart is a locally running dating-chat assistant tool: after the user pastes the other person's message, it displays probability-judgment cards (1-3 follow-up questions or 1-10 danger levels) and generates candidate replies, without connecting to chat software or sending anything automatically.
On the test machine (Intel i5-13420H, 16 GB RAM, no discrete GPU), Laya-Heart's card median latency was 0.44 seconds, the first full reply 3.6 seconds, and two replies 5.8 seconds; on an idle machine these were 0.39 seconds, 3.5 seconds and 5.0 seconds respectively.
Since October 18, 2025, the Laya-Heart App has used the fine-tuned v3 model by default.
Laya-Heart's prompt structure places fixed rules first and grows the chat history from the tail to maximize KV-cache prefix reuse.
The first launch of Laya-Heart requires downloading about 4.8 GB of model files, supports resumable downloads, and verifies each file with a fixed SHA-256 checksum.
