pack_product.py
A Python script used to package product files into a ZIP archive and automatically generate cover images and thumbnails, supporting rendering of 1280x720 covers and 600x600 thumbnails.
Timeline (last 90 days)
The author previously spent 30 to 45 minutes per product making covers in an image editor, about a week of spare time in total for 39 products; the pack_product.py script outputs the zip, cover, and thumbnail, and its only third-party dependency is Pillow.
The toolkit includes four standalone scripts: make_metadata.py, upload_tracker.py, md2pdf.py, and pack_product.py, drawn from roughly 19,000 lines of pipeline code and a project backed by over 300 pages of research, now offered separately as the "AI Sticker Factory Handbook."
Image rendering in pack_product.py depends on Pillow, and the only two third-party packages in the entire toolkit are Pillow and reportlab.
The pack_product.py script generates a product zip, a 1280x720 cover image, and a 600x600 thumbnail.
The developer provides the md2pdf.py script to convert Markdown into a styled PDF supporting headings, tables, lists, and links, as well as the pack_product.py script to package files and generate a 1280x720 cover and a 600x600 thumbnail, the latter of which depends on Pillow.
The author says that a zip package with a 1280x720 cover and a 600x600 thumbnail sells better than bare files, and cites their own catalog sales data as the basis.
The author packaged the scripts as the ai sticker factory playbook, containing four scripts: make_metadata.py, upload_tracker.py, md2pdf.py, and pack_product.py, of which the latter two depend on Pillow and reportlab.
pack_product.py uses Pillow to generate 1280x720 covers and 600x600 thumbnails, and packages the product files as a zip.
pack_product.py renders all covers (1280x720) and thumbnails (600x600) through the same Pillow code path, with identical fonts and layout, changing only the title and subtitle.
Of the four scripts the author ultimately used—make_metadata.py, upload_tracker.py, md2pdf.py and pack_product.py—two depend only on the Python standard library, and the other two need only Pillow and reportlab.

50%Unverifiedpack_product.py uses Pillow to package files and renders a 1280×720 cover and a 600×600 thumbnail; Pillow is one of only two third-party packages in the entire toolset, the other being reportlab used by md2pdf.py
50%Unverifiedpack_product.py is responsible for compressing files and uses Pillow to generate a 1280x720 cover and a 600x600 thumbnail; the output lands in the _system folder by default and can be redirected via --dir or the PACK_ROOT environment variable.

50%UnverifiedThe author used four scripts—make_metadata.py, upload_tracker.py, md2pdf.py, and pack_product.py—to package the 39 products and 856 MB of output delivered by this project on a 1 vCPU / 2 GB server.
50%UnverifiedThe author observed that in the same week and at the same price, products with a 1280×720 cover outsold the same products without a cover.
