Perceptual Hashing
Perceptual hashing is an image similarity algorithm that compresses an image into a short fingerprint, generating a hash value by applying a DCT transform and taking low-frequency coefficients; it is robust to scaling and slight color changes.
Timeline (last 90 days)
On extremely small crops such as 20x22 pixels, traditional image hashing (such as pHash) and color histogram features have very low discriminative power and may even introduce systematic misleading.
Perceptual hashing generates a 64-bit hash value by applying a DCT transform to the image and taking low-frequency coefficients; it is robust to scaling and slight color changes, but the premise is that the image contains enough global structural information.
Near-duplicates (such as different resolutions or slightly color-adjusted versions) are highly similar at the perceptual hash level and get grouped into duplicate families; therefore the ledger should record both file names and content hashes.
Methods for detecting the blank PNG failure include decoding the response body into a pixel matrix and counting the color distribution, the proportion of non-background pixels or the average brightness of the text area; lightweight approaches include computing the image's color variance, detecting the number of edges, or perceptual-hashing the rendered result and comparing it with a baseline image.
感知哈希(pHash)将图像缩小到固定尺寸后进行离散余弦变换取低频分量生成指纹,两张图像的汉明距离小于阈值(通常为 10/64 位)即判定为相似
