ConceptPhase Shift / 概率坍缩
Phase Transition (in LLM Reasoning)
A phenomenon describing an abrupt shift in probability distributions during large language model inference, whereby at a critical token position the model's uncertainty over candidate answers suddenly collapses and locks onto a single result. The term is used by analogy with phase transitions in physics.
