PrivateLink
A private network connectivity service offered by cloud providers that lets a consumer access a provider's service unidirectionally via private IP addresses using service endpoints, without exposing the entire network and without CIDR conflict issues. AWS calls it VPC Endpoint/PrivateLink, Azure calls it Private Endpoint, and GCP calls it Private Service Connect.
Timeline (last 90 days)
PrivateLink lets the consumer access the provider's service one-way via a private IP, without exposing the entire network and without CIDR conflict issues, but it is a point-to-point, direction-specific connection.
Resources deployed within an AWS VPC are isolated by default from the internet and other users' networks, and security groups, NACLs, and private subnets can be used to ensure that inference requests flow only within the internal network.
