Representational Shift

The directional change in a model's internal hidden-layer vector encodings of a given class of inputs before and after fine-tuning. It provides a mechanistic explanation for context confusion: when queries from different domains undergo similar representational shifts, behavioral features can be incorrectly activated across domains.
