Timeline (last 90 days)
RideFix Bro is an AI assistant for motorcycle repair developed by GitHub user GeeTansher, implementing a complete RAG+Agentic AI system with a backend architecture and Android client.
RideFix Bro is capable of reading official repair manuals up to 500 pages long and, when needed, searching the live web for real-world experiences from riders.
The most challenging part of the project was how to convert the massive PDF manual into vector embeddings without triggering timeouts or API rate limiting.
The AI in the system dynamically determines when to retrieve authoritative answers from the official manual via Qdrant and when to turn to web search for community repair experience.
The project's complete tech stack is C#, .NET 10, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, AutoGen, Gemini, Qdrant, Azure SQL, and Supabase.
RideFix Bro currently uses free service tiers and is equipped with a rate limiter; it is an early personal project not yet publicly released and has been open-sourced on GitHub under the repository name Ride-Fix-Bro.
