SciQuality
SciQuality is a benchmark for evaluating the quality of scientific dialogue. It constructs multi-turn research conversations based on held-out scientific papers and performs pairwise evaluation along six dimensions: methodological reliability, sufficiency of argumentation, logical consistency, factual correctness, novelty, and responsiveness.
Timeline (last 90 days)
The research team constructed the SciQuality evaluation set, building multi-turn research dialogues based on 300 held-out scientific papers and conducting pairwise evaluations across six dimensions.
The six evaluation dimensions of SciQuality include: methodological reliability, argument sufficiency, logical consistency, factual correctness, novelty, and responsiveness.
Under the condition of matched response length, CollabSciReM achieved a 65.3% win rate in the SciQuality evaluation.
SciQuality, as a newly proposed evaluation set, still lacks independent third-party reproduction.
SciQuality's six-dimensional evaluation framework can serve as a reference template for internal quality assessment by product teams building research assistance tools.
