Sentiment Arc

A text analysis method that constructs a sentiment arc by tracking the dynamic trajectory of sentiment as it evolves throughout a text, preserving sequential emotional features. It is applied to the analysis of structured narratives such as central bank communications, and differs from traditional lexicon-based approaches that compute average sentiment scores.
