Shadowing

A language learning technique in which learners repeat target-language audio almost simultaneously as they hear it. By simultaneously engaging auditory processing, phonetic production, and working memory, the method reinforces acquisition of the target language's phonological patterns and has demonstrated effectiveness for improving prosody and fluency.
