TDK CLI
TDK CLI is a command-line tool for managing microservice stacks. It supports declaring service dependencies (dependsOn) through service.json configuration, automatically builds a DAG and starts and stops services in topological order, and provides commands such as dry-run, status and logs.
Timeline (last 90 days)
Running `tdk down` stops the stack; a stack that is not stopped occupies ports and affects the next startup.
Running `tdk up sales` in the repository root starts the sales stack.
`tdk up sales --dry-run` lets you view the startup plan without actually starting anything.
`tdk logs --json --service quoting-api --tail 200` can be used to read the logs of quoting-api.
`tdk status --json` can confirm service readiness status.
The TDK CLI can run a local multi-service stack and expose it via `tdk mcp`, letting the agent start the stack, check readiness, and read recent logs.
The Rust scaffold generated by TDK uses axum 0.8 and tokio, provides GET /health, reads PORT, binds to 0.0.0.0, and includes unit tests
TDK describes Rust as an opt-in language; omitting --language still generates the default Bun and Hono scaffold, and existing projects are unaffected
The TDK CLI can scaffold a Rust backend resource via tdk resource <name> --type backend --language rust
