Digital Content Directive

A European Union consumer-protection legislative act adopted in 2019 and formally transposed into effect in 2022. It introduces the concept of 'conformity' into the domain of digital products and services, requiring that digital content supplied by traders meets the quality standards a consumer can reasonably expect based on public representations.
