RTX 6000 Ada Generation
A professional workstation graphics card released by NVIDIA in 2022, based on the Ada Lovelace architecture with 48 GB of GDDR6 memory.
Timeline (last 90 days)
There are at least four NVIDIA professional graphics cards named "RTX 6000" on the market: Quadro RTX 6000 (Turing, 2018, 24GB GDDR6, 672 GB/s), RTX A6000 (Ampere, 2020, 48GB GDDR6, 768 GB/s), RTX 6000 Ada Generation (Ada Lovelace, 2022, 48GB GDDR6, 960 GB/s), and RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell (Blackwell, 2025, 96GB GDDR7, 1,597–1,792 GB/s).
NVIDIA initially named the card "RTX 6000" in the Ada Lovelace generation and later added the "Ada Generation" suffix, so for a time it had exactly the same name as the 2018 Quadro RTX 6000.
On getdeploying, in one week the on-demand median price for the RTX 6000 Ada was about $1.03 per hour, and for the RTX PRO 6000 about $2.24 per hour.
The RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell has a compute capability of 12.0, the RTX 6000 Ada 8.9, and the RTX A6000 8.6.
Rental listings that only say "RTX 6000" and are priced around one dollar per hour are more likely to be the 48GB RTX 6000 Ada than the 96GB RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell.
