Anatomy
An MIT-licensed open-source Agent Skill that enables AI agents to invent physical machine mechanisms and express abstract concepts as interactive isometric SVG, with built-in deterministic construction and geometry auditing scripts.
Timeline (last 90 days)
Anatomy is an MIT-licensed Agent Skill that runs in Claude Code, OpenCode, Codex, and Antigravity; after you input /anatomy plus an idea, the Agent invents a physical machine whose operating mechanism expresses abstract concepts, and assembles small shaded parts into an interactive isometric SVG.
The Anatomy project went from a newly created repository on October 8 to 6,632 GitHub stars by the morning of the 13th.
Anatomy's three example projects were rebuilt with pure Node scripts, with no npm dependencies, all exiting with code 0, a clean git status, and rebuilt artifacts byte-identical to the versions committed in the repository; the heaviest Raptor engine example took 115 seconds.
Anatomy's geometry audit feature outputs for the arcade cabinet example: 15 pipelines, 243 entities, 349 items, 1,290 overlapping pairs, and 1,290 draw order rules, completing and passing within 11 seconds.
On a GPU-less Debian machine, using OpenCode 1.19.0 connected to qwen3:1.7b in Ollama for pure CPU inference, three tests all failed to produce acceptable graphics: the token bucket rate limiter task ran for 16 minutes without writing any file; the CDN edge cache task wrote a 738-byte invalid SVG in 8 minutes 23 seconds; and the database connection pool task output a flat 2D placeholder graphic in 10 minutes 37 seconds.
Anatomy's SKILL.md is 31,600 bytes, plus about 300KB of nine reference guides loaded on demand at runtime; the injected prompt is about 7,700 input tokens, which takes 45 to 70 seconds to read on CPU, with generation speed of about 4 to 5.5 tokens per second.
npx skills add crashes outright on Node 20, even though Anatomy itself only requires Node 20.10+; the CLI toolchain requires Node 22.20+, which is buried in a collapsed section of the documentation.
Anatomy's CLI installed to ~/.agents/skills/anatomy, while the documentation says OpenCode corresponds to a different path; OpenCode happens to also read the .agents directory so it still works, but the documentation is inconsistent with actual behavior.
Of Anatomy's 225 tests, 5 fail, all of them test files that depend on React, which is not installed; the documentation states that React is only required when outputting React.
On an 8 vCPU, 16GB memory (about 4GB free during testing), GPU-less Linux machine, the 1.7-billion-parameter qwen3:1.7b model could not drive the Anatomy Skill to complete a qualified multi-step workflow.

It is recommended to start by building Anatomy's examples/dial-indicator; reading those roughly 300 lines of code is more informative than looking at any screenshot.
