At a webinar hosted by Abakir, Power Platform department head Nikolaj Sjørman and Business Central consultant Mads Stalkers Christiansen presented a case of building an AI agent for Business Central using Copilot Studio and an MCP server to automatically process purchase order confirmations, and the agent was named 'The Vendor Whisperer'.
The Vendor Whisperer agent can automatically read order confirmation emails and PDF attachments sent by suppliers, extract key data, and directly update the purchasing management journal in Business Central.
Each API page in Business Central provides four tools by default: read, create, modify, and delete.
