Code with Cosmos
A developer education series launched by the Azure Cosmos DB team that demonstrates how to use AI-assisted tools to build Cosmos DB applications locally.
Timeline (last 90 days)
The Azure Cosmos DB team launched a series called Code with Cosmos, co-hosted by senior product marketing manager Mark Ohari and product manager Patti Chow.
The goal of the first episode is to start from an empty folder and build a working Cosmos DB application using only a laptop, without relying on an Azure subscription at all.
The demo project starts from a short PRD that describes an AI travel planning application involving users, itineraries, flights, and preferences, as well as the expected query patterns.
The second episode of the series will show how to make the application intelligent with vector, full-text, and hybrid search, with the goal of finding the truly right hotel in Barcelona on real-time operational data, not just a similar one.
