One of the retrieval evaluation metrics; it determines whether at least one relevant document appears among the top k retrieval results, averaging the hit ratio across all queries, but ignoring ranking and completeness.

Hit rate@k is defined as: as long as at least one expected text chunk appears in the Top-K results it is recorded as 1, otherwise as 0, averaged over all questions.
