Hook Mechanism

An event-interception mechanism within the Claude Code plugin system that allows developers to inject custom logic before or after Claude executes specific operations. Hooks are divided into command-type hooks, which execute local scripts, and HTTP-type hooks, which send requests to a URL. Common use cases include content filtering, permission validation, and operation auditing.
