Linear Combination
Linear combination is a hybrid retrieval fusion method. It first normalizes the scores from BM25 and vector retrieval, for example with min-max normalization, and then adds them according to weights. It allows the weighting between semantic and keyword relevance to be adjusted according to business requirements.
