Preregistered Randomized Controlled Trial

A randomized controlled trial method in which the research hypotheses, experimental design, and analysis plan are publicly registered before data collection. It is used to prevent practices such as p-hacking that lead to false positives and to strengthen the credibility of causal inferences.
