Push-to-Talk

Push-to-Talk (PTT) is a half-duplex voice communication method in which the user speaks while holding a button and listens upon release. Apple provides a PTT framework API on iOS that allows VoIP-type apps to stand by in the background and be woken with low latency, but the framework is limited to iOS and no corresponding API is available on watchOS.
