RipGrep

A modern text search tool developed in Rust by Andrew Gallant. It leverages a finite automaton regex engine and SIMD instruction sets, and serves as the de facto standard built-in search backend for mainstream editors such as VS Code and Neovim, as well as the underlying search engine for Claude Code.
