Self-Organizing Learning

A neural network learning paradigm that emphasizes local rules and emergent behavior. Each unit in the network updates according to local information and simple interaction rules, and complex global learning behavior emerges spontaneously from local interactions without reliance on a global error signal or detailed external design instructions, more closely resembling learning in biological brains.
