DPM-Solver
A fast sampling method for diffusion models proposed by Cheng Lu et al. in 2022. It rewrites the reverse ODE as a semi-linear structure and analytically computes the linear part using exponential integrating factors, substantially reducing the number of sampling steps required.
Timeline (last 90 days)
Model acceleration aims to reduce the number of sampling steps, and typical methods include DDIM and distillation methods.
DPM-Solver is a fast sampling algorithm used to optimize the sampling process of diffusion models.
Improved sampling schedulers (such as DDIM and DPM-Solver) can reduce the number of steps without retraining the model, but the compression ratio is relatively limited
Traditional diffusion models (such as DDPM) require hundreds of steps for progressive denoising.
