TLS
Transport Layer Security — a widely used cryptographic protocol that provides end-to-end data encryption and authentication for network communications. It forms the foundation of secure network transmission protocols such as HTTPS.

Credential rotation follows the same idea as key rekeying in TLS sessions: it does not change the continuous semantics of the connection or run, only replaces the underlying credential at fixed time or event intervals.
When sending proprietary data to third-party models, the payload needs TLS encryption and raw user input should not be logged; API keys should be stored in a secret manager and rotated regularly; scenarios with stricter compliance requirements can consider running open models on their own hardware.
Commonly used SASL mechanisms include PLAIN (used with TLS, sending the account name and password) and EXTERNAL (based on client certificates, requiring no password transmission).
Cloudroom Core's conversation history is transmitted via TLS encryption and saved to disk
SDK v3.20.0 now retries on unmapped TLS transport errors.
Common file transfer tools of the same type use TLS or encryption schemes based on libsodium to protect transfers within the LAN.
If the PS5 uses RTMPS and strictly verifies the server certificate, even if the attacker controls the local network and redirects DNS, a forged server cannot pass the TLS handshake, thereby preventing hijacking.
RTMPS is essentially RTMP traffic wrapped in TLS, analogous to the relationship between HTTPS and HTTP.
NetWatch supports decryption of TLS 1.3 and 1.2, provided that session keys are available, by pointing the client's SSLKEYLOGFILE to NetWatch, whereupon the plaintext is decoded in the Packets tab.
To enable fast retrieval and real-time comparison, many identity verification companies often employ only transport-layer encryption (TLS) while storing data in plaintext or with weak encryption on the server side.
