Resend
An email delivery API service designed for developers, providing high-deliverability email infrastructure.
Timeline (last 90 days)
The Network panel in Chrome DevTools has officially retired the "Replay XHR" feature, replacing it with a new feature called "Resend".
Developers need to ensure their Chrome browser stays up to date in order to get the Resend feature as well as other enhanced features of the Network panel.
Resend also provides an "Edit and Resend as Fetch" option, which can convert the request into Fetch code to be modified in the Console panel before execution.
The Resend feature allows developers to select any request in the Network panel and resend it immediately with a click, while preserving all Header, Cookie, and Payload information of the original request.
Replay XHR cannot correctly reproduce Fetch requests, which is the fundamental reason it was replaced by Resend.
Resend provides a Node SDK, React Email, webhooks, and inbound support.
Resend's free tier offers 3,000 emails per month, 100 emails per day, and support for 3 domains, with no credit card required.
Resend's Pro paid tier is $20/month, providing a quota of 50,000 emails, removal of the daily limit, and support for 10 domains.
Resend does not offer SMS functionality.
It is recommended to adopt an architectural principle of "single production sender + independent SMS service" to avoid the same receipt being triggered simultaneously by two services, preventing duplicate sends and damage to domain reputation.
